Another Baby Soon to Arrive

There's to be another wee Bryan soon, a sister to the wee Bryan born last January! Having completed the afghan, I decided that since I still had yarn left, I could make something to go with it, and decided on the poncho and hat combination. Adding a crochet flower for style appeal, some fluffy eyelash edges, and making it all in a washable yarn should work well for Mom. The poncho is a great way to dress up a sleeper for a quick grocery stop, or just to go out for a drive- no sleeves to fuss with, and when outgrown, can dress up a favorite Bear. Crochetted from Paton's Softee Baby in Soft Lilac, it was quick to work up, even the flower. Now we're ready for Baby Faith to arrive, hope big brother Austin will be!
